It is super important to keep a check on your rabbit for fleas.
How does a rabbit get fleas?
Fleas spread from one animal to another. Their eggs are left on the animal and in its living environment. Even after all adult fleas are removed or treated, the eggs continue to hatch continuing the cycle.
Fleas can carry the deadly rabbit disease Myxomatosis or for short, Myxo. If a flea has bitten a rabbit with Myxomatosis then bites your rabbit it will transmit the disease sadly.
